AIDoingIt — Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 4, 2026

This Privacy Policy covers Part A, the aidoingit.com website and its data cards, and Part B, the Book Trader mobile application, both provided by AIDoingIt.

Part A: aidoingit.com website and data cards

What we collect

Anonymous browser ID. The first time you visit, the website stores a random identifier (for example "c_x7k2...") in your browser's local storage. It is not linked to your name, email or any account. It is sent with your card votes and comments so we can count them.

Votes and comments. When you rate a card or leave a comment, we store the card it relates to, your vote or comment text, the time, and your anonymous browser ID. Comments are shown publicly on the card.

Server logs. Like most websites, our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser user agent, page requested and time) for security, troubleshooting and abuse prevention.

What we do not collect

The website has no accounts or sign-up, does not ask for your name or email, does not use advertising or third-party analytics trackers, and does not sell personal data.

Card data from third parties

Card content is fetched by our server from third-party public APIs, including Kalshi's public market data, so your browser does not send your information to those providers when you view a card. Images or videos on some cards may load directly from the provider's own servers, which then receive your IP address as with any web image; their own privacy policies apply.

Retention and your choices

Votes and comments are kept while the website operates. You can clear the anonymous ID at any time by clearing your browser's site data. To ask us to remove a comment you posted, contact support@aidoingit.com.

Part B: Book Trader mobile app

This part is also available on its own at aidoingit.com/book-trader-privacy.html.

This Privacy Policy explains what information Book Trader ("the App," provided by AIDoingIt) collects and how it is used.

Kalshi API Credentials

If you choose to enter your own Kalshi API Key ID and private key in Settings, that information is stored locally on your device (iOS UserDefaults / browser localStorage) and never leaves your device except as described here.

When you place, cancel, or close an order, or when the App loads your own positions and resting orders, your Key ID and private key are sent to our server over an encrypted HTTPS connection as two request headers (X-Kalshi-Key-Id and X-Kalshi-Private-Key) attached to that request only - never to requests that load public market data. Our server uses your key in memory to cryptographically sign that one request to Kalshi's API on your behalf, then discards it; we do not write your private key to disk, to a database, or to logs, and we do not retain a persistent copy of it on our servers. We do not sell, rent, share, or use your credentials for any purpose other than signing the order you directly initiated.

Market and Trading Data

To display live prices, order books, positions, and trade history, the App communicates with our server, which in turn communicates with Kalshi's API. Your positions, balances, and order activity are read from your Kalshi account only to display them to you within the App. These read-only requests never include your API Key ID or private key - the key is attached only to the trading actions described above (place, cancel, close) and to loading your own positions and orders, never to a price refresh, chart load, or any other market-data request.

Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect advertising identifiers, do not run third-party analytics or ad SDKs, and do not sell personal data to third parties.

Data Retention

Your API credentials remain on your device until you clear them in Settings or delete the App. We do not retain a persistent copy of your private key on our servers.

Third-Party Services

The App relies on Kalshi, Inc.'s API to function. Your use of Kalshi is governed by Kalshi's own privacy policy and terms, separate from this one.
